St Aloysius' College
St Aloysius' College, a Roman Catholic boys' state school in the heart of Islington, is surrounded by green pockets that we’ve been nurturing over time. Our latest project focuses on revamping a woodland area to create a serene haven for students while introducing forest school activities.
Latest Update
November '24: We have started revamping a lovely forest area behind the school’s football pitch.
Our goal is to create a nature learning area within the school grounds, complete with wood stumps to allow students to spend some quiet time in nature. We are currently recruiting a Nature Leader to animate an after-school club.
Our vision is to create an outdoor learning area for the pupils of STAC where they will be able to learn about nature and climate change, connect with nature and increase their awareness of the natural world and its importance to us as humans, as well as benefit from the calming effects and mental wellbeing improvements associated with time spent in nature.
