Transforming urban spaces into vibrant, biodiverse environments is something we can all do, right now.
Our Campaigns
-
The Hedgehog Corridor
Our Hedgehog Corridor Project is dedicated to creating safe pathways for hedgehogs in urban areas, ensuring they can roam freely and thrive. In partnership with local residents, and Heath Hands we’re building an East Side Corridor to connect Hampstead Heath to Waterlow Park—two vital green spaces. The Heath has London’s biggest hedgehog population and we’re committed to helping them thrive!
By linking gardens, parks, and shared spaces with “hedgehog highways” (small gaps in fences), we’re helping these much-loved creatures overcome barriers and find food, mates, and shelter.
Together, we’re creating a lifeline for hedgehogs while inspiring communities to work in harmony with nature.

We're Going Wild Campaign
With this project, we’re encouraging neighbours to embrace a wilder approach to their front gardens. Too many of these spaces are being paved over, contributing to biodiversity loss and increased flood risks. Through our campaign, we’re celebrating front gardens where owners are consciously choosing to let nature thrive—placing signs in “wilder” gardens to inspire others.
Letting your garden grow wild doesn’t mean chaos—a common misconception! A well-maintained but diverse garden can be a haven for pollinators, far more beneficial than a neglected, ivy-covered patch. Together, we’re proving that small changes in urban spaces can make a big difference for biodiversity and our communities.
