Duke's Aldridge Academy

Duke’s Aldridge Academy is a secondary school in Haringey, North London, with vast grounds that are almost entirely paved over. Inspired by our work at Parliament Hill School, a teacher reached out to us, and with the support of a new headteacher eager to integrate nature education, we began exploring ways to bring green spaces into the school.

Latest Update

December '25: Thanks to funding from the charitable organisation Sabzgaman, we’ve secured a nature club leader to guide students in reconnecting with nature. We’re collaborating with Nina from Hackney Outdoors to recruit and support this role.

Our next step is to find a company willing to partner with the school, providing additional funding and volunteers to help restore the long-abandoned secret garden—an exciting opportunity to transform an overlooked space into a thriving natural refuge.
